It will serve as a permanent assurance that the Capital Gazette and other fallen journalists will never be forgotten.”

Statement from Barbara Cochran, Fallen Journalists Memorial Foundation President
“As we honor the memory of those killed at the Capital Gazette, we also think of journalists in danger around the world who battle harassment and threats to expose corruption. The Fallen Journalists Memorial will serve as a beacon for all who support press freedom globally.”
